Well, this is certainly looking to be another great holiday season coming up at Hallmark! A few days ago, I posted a list of the 19 new original movies planned for Hallmark's 2016 Countdown to Christmas. And, now I have the information on 3 new original movies to be shown on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries channel.

Hallmark Movies & Mysteries channel's "Most Wonderful Movies of Christmas" will begin on Friday Oct 28 and run through Saturday Dec 31. This special event will include 1500 hours of holiday movies. And like in previous years, will include the Yule Log starting on Christmas Eve and running through Christmas morning. And of course, the cutest part of their Yule Log presentation has to be the dog and cat that wonder in and out and lie by the fireplace!

The following descriptions of the new movies were found in a recent Hallmark press release.

FINDING FATHER CHRISTMAS
Starring Wendy Malick and Erin Krakow
Christmas for Miranda is a painful reminder of the family she never had. Her mother died when she was young, never revealing the identity of her father. But, three days before Christmas, she unexpectedly receives a clue as to his whereabouts that takes her to a beautiful New England town where she meets Ian, a young man who helps with her search. As the clues lead to her father's identity and Miranda discovers the possibility of love in Ian, and she learns that her father lived in the small town and now she knows his family (her brother and her biological father's wife). She faces a terrible decision - should she share the truth and risk losing the family she has just found, or leave and keep the secret forever? This Christmas promises to be life changing for Miranda with a new chance at life and love.

OPERATION CHRISTMAS
Starring Tricia Helfer, Marc Blucas, and Lisa Durupt
As her new romance blossoms, a single mother is dismayed when her boyfriend, a military sergeant, is deployed right before Christmas. Determined not to let it ruin the holidays for her and her children, they decide to give back to the struggling military families on his base and, as their efforts go viral, they are rewarded in ways they never imagined.

PAIR OF JACKS
Starring James Brolin
Jackie Foster is a smart, organized single mom and attorney. She has the perfect life...until her dad, Jack (Brolin), a retired cop who is crusty on the outside but a softy on the inside, returns home. He reluctantly agrees to stay for Christmas, and despite the baggage he brings - a dog, a beat-up motorhome and some old wounds, they ultimately reconnect as a family and share a warm, love-filled holiday. Not only that, but Jack introduces her to a detective that helps Jackie avoid a potentially disastrous match with the wrong man.
