The first week of spring is not even over, and already I'm feeling Christmas in the air! This promises to be the best year yet at Hallmark, where they are celebrating the 10th anniversary of "Countdown to Christmas".

Their yearlong celebration started last month when they announced that they would be showing Christmas movies every Thursday and Friday night for the rest of the year! Friday night on the regular Hallmark channel, and Thursday night on their sister channel, Hallmark Movies & Mysteries. You can check our Christmas TV schedule for not only Hallmark movies, but all the other Christmas shows and movies on each day.

Since it is still so early in the year, the news on what Hallmark has planned is just starting to trickle out. So far we've heard that filming has started on "A Christmas Love Story", starring Kristin Chenoweth and Scott Wolf. And Blake Shelton is producing another movie this year, similar to last year's "Time For Me to Come Home for Christmas".

As part of their 10th anniversary celebration, Hallmark is promising to go even bigger than last year. We haven't heard exactly how many new movies there will be, but we hear it will break last year's record of 38 new movies!

And for those of us who just can't wait for the fall celebration to begin, Hallmark has also announced that this year they will be including a new movie premiere as part of their annual Christmas in July celebration!
