Hallmark Countdown to Christmas 2019
As promised, I have a lot more Hallmark Countdown to Christmas news to share! We already know about a few movies on the list for this year - "A Christmas Love Story" with Kristin Chenoweth and Scott Wolf, "Holiday for Heroes" starring Melissa Claire Egan and Marc Blucas, "Picture a Perfect Christmas" with Merritt Patterson and Jon Cor, and another, as yet unnamed, holiday movie from executive producer Blake Shelton.
To add to that list, Hallmark has announced "Christmas Wishes and Mistletoe Kisses", starring Jill Wagner, Matthew Davis and Donna Mills.
The movie centers around Abbey (Jill Wagner), a single mom who takes a risk in following her true passion of interior designing. She is hired by a local businessman, Nick, (Matthew Davis) to decorate his estate by Christmas Eve. With the deadline in sight, Abbey must navigate her working relationship with Nick in hopes that this is just the start to a successful new career.
Another new movie, "Write Before Christmas", will star Chad Michael Murray, Torrey DeVitto, Drew Seeley, Grant Show, and Lolita Davidovich.
In this movie, a recently single Jessica (Torrey DeVitto) sends Christmas cards to five people that have impacted her life - the aunt (Lolita Davidovich) who raised her, her younger brother in the military, a popstar (Drew Seeley) that was part of the soundtrack of her life, the music teacher that inspired her, and the best friend who always tells the truth.
Jodie Sweetin and Andrew Walker will be starring in "Merry and Bright".
This story begins when Cate (Jodie Sweetin), CEO of the Merry & Bright Candy Cane Company, meets Gabe (Andrew Walker) during the busy Christmas season. She assumes Gabe is the suitor that her well-meaning mother is trying to set her up with. In reality, he works for Empire Corporate Recovery, which has been hired to take a closer look at Merry & Bright's operation and find ways to make the company more profitable. As Cate and Gabe begin to work together, they find ways to elevate the business, and also find that they have more in common than savvy business sense.
I'm sure every Hallmark Christmas movie fan will be happy to hear that Candace Cameron Bure will be back again this year, starring in her eighth "Countdown to Christmas" movie.
In the movie, Lauren Gabriel (Candace Cameron Bure) leaves everything behind in Boston to embark on a new chapter in her life and career. But an unforeseen detour to the charming town of Grandon Falls has her discover unexpected new chapters - of the heart and of family - helping her to embrace, once again, the magic of Christmas.
Tim Rozon stars opposite Candace Cameron Bure and plays Travis, a town local who helps Lauren out with a ride from the train station in to the town of Grandon Falls.
So far, we have information about the first 8 of Hallmark's 40 movies for this year. That means we are still waiting to find out what the other 32 will bring.
Keep checking back, and I will keep you updated as we get closer!
