Christmas Movies... Think you've seen them all?

So, here we are... my first blog post. First, before I forget, I'd like to thank everyone for visiting the site. The website was started back in the fall of 2010, so it's been a long road to this first post. I started the website because of Christmas TV shows. Every year I looked forward to the new shows and, whether it was the Christmas episode of a TV series, or a new Christmas movie - I have always been a sucker for all of it. As more TV networks started getting into special Christmas programming, I found it harder to keep up with all of their schedules. I was always afraid that I would miss something good. Even during the rest of the year, if there was a repeat of a Christmas episode of a TV show, I was there ready to watch it.

I realized I certainly couldn't be the only person with this Christmas obsession. So, combining my need for Christmas TV with my technical background - a website with a schedule of all the shows just seemed like the next logical step. And I thought many other people would probably like to see a list like that too, all in one convenient place. That's how the website got started, and based upon the number of visitors the site gets, it sure looks like I was right!

And, to tell the truth, it wasn't just Christmas TV and Movies. It's everything about Christmas - the music, the lights, the decorations, the spirit, the memories - all of it. So, really, TV was just the beginning. I knew from the start that I would probably include a little bit about other holidays, but Christmas was, and always will be, the main focus.

At first, the schedule was only updated starting around Thanksgiving weekend through the end of December. But after a couple of years, I realized that there were actually

almost every day of the year. So, beginning in the spring of 2012, I started updating the schedule throughout the year. This turned out to be a very popular decision. And then a year or two later, I added year round TV schedules for both .

A few years back, I added the list of . Whenever I travel, I always look for a Christmas store, or the Christmas decoration section of the nearest gift shop. I have ornaments from probably every place I have ever been. And again, I know I'm not the only person who does this... come on, you know you do it too!

So, if you also love Christmas movies and TV shows, get some popcorn or even a big mug of hot chocolate, have a seat, put your feet up, and get comfortable...
