It's never too early to talk about Hallmark Christmas movies! And the latest news is here - Hallmark will premiere 34 new Christmas movies for 2018!

Entertainment Weekly reported earlier this week that Hallmark Channel, along with their sister station Hallmark Movies & Mysteries, will be debuting 34 brand new original Christmas movies later this year.

Hallmark Channel will have 22 new movies, starting on October 27. And Hallmark Movies & Mysteries will premiere 12 new movies, starting on November 4. As they have done for the past several years, Hallmark will be celebrating Christmas in July again in 2018. There will be at least a couple of weeks of Christmas movies starting at the end of June, and running straight through mid-July.

There is not much information available yet on any of these new movies, but I am sure we will be seeing many familiar faces. If you want a little refresher on last year's new movies, check our list and descriptions.

And, not to be left out, Lifetime network also appears to be stepping up their game. They have recently announced an unbelievable 14 new movies for 2018 - more than double their 2017 count.

We all know that October is still a long way off, so at this point I am really happy that Hallmark is still planning their annual Christmas in July. For those of us that have a hard time waiting even until July - you might be interested to know that there are Christmas shows and movies on TV nearly every day.
