The countdown has begun! We are now less than 2 weeks away from another Hallmark Christmas in July!

Hallmark Movies & Mysteries will be kicking off the celebration on Friday June 28, and will air Christmas movies around the clock through July 14.

The Hallmark channel will join in the fun on Friday July 12, and their schedule will continue through July 28.

As usual, we can expect to see most of our favorite movies from the past few years. But, this year the schedule will include 2 brand new movies!

The first movie, "Christmas Camp" will be on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries on Thursday, July 11. It stars Lily Anne Harrison and Bobby Campo, and centers around an advertising exec who must bring in a new account in the form of a traditional toy company. To learn more about the holiday and its traditions, she attends a "Christmas Camp," where she crosses paths with the camp owner's son, who teaches her about other stuff too, like love.

"Christmas Camp", both the movie and the book, were written by Karen Schaler. I've just learned that she has written other Christmas stories also... I may have to take a look at them!

A few days later, on Saturday July 13th, "A Merry Christmas Match" premieres on the Hallmark Channel. This new movie stars Ashley Newbrough and Kyle Dean Massey, and revolves around a woman named Corey who lives in a ski village, works in her mom's antique shop, and puts on an annual children's Christmas pageant in honor of her late father. When a man named Ryder visits her store, Corey wonders if she should have left town and followed her dreams of becoming a theater director.

And keep in mind, these new movies are only 2 of the 40 new movies that Hallmark is planning for this year!

As much as I love all the new movies, I also have some favorites from past years. When I looked at the schedule, I was excited to see that a few of my old favorites are included this year - The Most Wonderful Time of the Year, Moonlight & Mistletoe, and of course, The Christmas Card.
