Not to be outdone by Hallmark, this year Lifetime will also be breaking their previous record by offering 28 new original Christmas movies. The network's “It’s a Wonderful Lifetime” seasonal programming will start on October 25th (the same day as Hallmark!) and run through Christmas Week.

With this record breaking number of movies this year from Lifetime, it certainly seems like the competition between them and Hallmark is heating up. If so, bring it on! Their competition means more movies for us!

As expected there will be some familiar faces among the cast of these movies, including Melissa Joan Hart, Marie Osmond, Kelly Rowland, Vanessa Lachey, and Ted McGinley
