Another month is upon us, and that means that it is time for another monthly calendar of strange and wacky daily holidays!

Some of you may have noticed that I'm a little late getting this month's calendar out. I found myself in the path of Tropical Storm Isaias and needed to take a little time to prepare for that. No worries though - I came through the storm fine, but my town took a pretty hard hit in terms of power outages. Okay, and I admit it, I also was very busy watching the last few days of Hallmark Christmas in July!

These continue to be strange times we are going through. August is Back to School month, but in view of the current situation, even that is not a definite thing. Some schools will be open, some will not, many can't decide.

So let's not think about any of that now. Check the calendar, pick your favorite weird holiday, and plan the best way to celebrate it!
