Put Your Christmas Decorations Up Early and Be Happy!

Are you the person who listens to Christmas Music all year?

Have you caught yourself humming 'Deck the Halls' long before Thanksgiving?

Are you ready to decorate for Christmas as soon as the last trick-or-treater leaves your front porch?

Then some experts will say that you are generally a happier person than those scrooge like grinches around us!

But do we decorate early because we're happier people? Or are we happier as the holidays approach because we're surrounded by decorations and lights - with the sounds of Christmas music or a Hallmark movie always in the background?

Some people decorate early as a reminder of times past - or times lost. A reminder maybe of their childhood, of happier or simpler times. Perhaps just a time of innocence when they couldn't wait for the joy of Christmas morning, knowing that Santa will have paid a visit.

Many of us know that Christmas is not just about the day - it's about the journey. It's all about the anticipation, and everything that leads up to it - the shopping, the decorations, the lights, the music, the memories, and perhaps most importantly the feeling in the air.

Of course, this year is a little different than past years. Many of us may need to make some changes in how we celebrate the holidays. To add to the spirit of the season, try to be open to creating some new traditions.

If a few new Christmas decorations may add to your seasonal spirit this year, then take a look at our page of year round Christmas Stores and find one near you. And if you're a little hesitant to go out to shop this year, many of the stores have websites and either phone or online ordering.

Or if you're thinking about something unique and one of a kind, then take a look at this Christmas decor - there's something for everyone!

Every year for as long as I can remember, I have said that I will put up my Christmas tree on Thanksgiving weekend. And to be honest, that has never actually happened.

Until this year! The tree is actually up and decorated! Now I can just relax in the festive glow of tree lights, and watch Hallmark Christmas movies!

So, deck the halls, light up that Christmas tree, and share the hot chocolate!
