We are getting closer to the Most Wonderful Time of the Year! And we are now just 3 weeks away from the start of 24/7 Christmas Movies on TV!

That's right! Hallmark Countdown to Christmas starts on Friday Oct 22! And they have already announced that they will have a total of 41 new movies this year.

Not to be left out, several other networks will be joining in the festivities this year. Brand new movies are also planned on Lifetime, ION, and UpTV. And now we have the brand new GAC Family channel joining in the fun.

Lifetime has already announced 35 new movies starting on Friday Nov 12, and it looks like they will be premiering a new original movie every night throughout the season.

GAC Family is getting their season off to a great start. On Oct 24, they will be showing "Welcome to Great American Christmas" - which sounds a lot like a reboot of the recently cancelled Hallmark "Home & Family" - complete with hosts Debbie Matenopoulos and Cameron Mathison. No complaints here!

Things are always subject to change - but currently it looks like Hallmark will be premiering a brand new movie every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday night throughout the season.

Information is slowing coming out about the details on all of the new movies, and there will be some new faces along with the familiar faces we've all come to expect.

Some premiere dates for the new movies have been announced and you can find them on the Christmas TV Schedule. I expect that the schedule will probably change, as it usually does, and I will be updating it as needed.

At this point we're just 3 weeks away from the start. And remember, it's never too early to start decorating for the holidays!

So, get out those decorations, find your Christmas Movie watching blanket and Christmas jammies, stock up on hot chocolate and popcorn, and let's get another holiday season started!
